In today's society, each enterprise is faced with numerous opportunities and challenges. In fact, the root of all competitions is the talents competition. For those who are high performer, they pay attention to the personal development space instead of the salary and benefits, They want to reflect their personal values as much as possible. In my opinion, entrepreneurs should try to understand the different needs of high performers so as to create conditions for them to motivate them to achieve higher goals.

Internationally renowned enterprises have attached great importance to the scientific management and the enthusiasm of the staffs. They are willing to do everything to train and retain high performers. Now let me take an example, Nortel Networks lay emphasis on high performer’s career development and help them develop occupation plan. The personnel manager said it was difficult to use the reward of the salary to retain talents because of the high performers also have high wages. At Nortel Networks, if employees work more

than two years, they can change their position according to their own requirements. Indeed, it will inevitably produce a sense of dull and boring if in the same position for too long time. When high performers at new position, they will find work more challenging and trying to explore their potential. For Nortel, "rotation" provides the occupation development space in order to retain talents. And in the view of employees, in the process of switching positions, they can not only enjoy a "jump" of the fresh and fun, but also have a deeper understanding about their further career development. It can be said to achieve a win-win situation for both the company and the employees.

Above is my personal point of view. In short , it is indispensable for enterprises to take actions to retain high performers. They can promote the scientific system of talents and create a good environment to motivate people with the sincere feelings. Of course, the situation of each enterprise is not the same, so the concrete implementations should be combined with the specific conditions.
