You are allowed 30 minutes to write an essay on the saying “Don't aim for success if you want it; just do what you love and believe in, and it will come naturally.” You can cite examples to illustrate your point. You should write at least 180 words. Success, like all the shining things in life, has long been craved, conceived and pursued by everyone but only achieved by few. There’s no denying that failure could be due to numerous reasons, while I believe the absence of love counts on most.

Love, or in other words, passion serves as a navigator, a motivator and a reminder throughout our way to success. I have extolled it as a navigator, first, because it can galvanize us into what we are capable of and enjoy doing. Lu Xun, the father of modern Chinese literature, abandoned medicine for writing in his early years, after neither fame or fortune, only with a

will to follow his heart and save the country with his pen. Fortunately, he made it. I have raised it as a motivator, next, because it enables us to dedicate our time and stamina with no complaint but gratification. However, pursuing success isn’t always roses all the way. While getting stuck in a raining day, the role which love plays as a reminder becomes incredibly important. Beethoven, one of the greatest musicians in the world, was a living proof that you can always shift the odds in your favor. He used to practice playing the piano long hours on meager food, at humble places, in agony of losing audition. His love for music was the only thing that reminded him of what he was adept at and motivated him not to give up, which directly contributed to the birth of series of famous symphonies.

As the old saying goes” Don't aim for success if you want it; just do what you love and believe in, and it will come naturally.” Focusing on success itself, we can only imitate those who already achieved it and unable to make any breakthrough. We need to look behind it, as deeply as possible, and that’s where love lies.
