1. Recently our class has held a discussion on “What will the future be like?”

2. Some students think that in the future science will be more advanced, and transportation will be more convenient.

3. People will live much longer and the level of their living conditions will be higher.

4. However, some students think that in the future natural resources as well as farmland will further decrease and the problem of pollution will become more serious, and there will be more traffic accidents.

5. In my opinion, we should try to protect natural resources and decrease environment pollution.

Recently our class has held a discussion on “What will the future be like?” Some students think in the future science will be more advanced, and transportation will be more convenient. As a result , people will enjoy a higher standard of living and thus have a longer life. However, other students argue that in the future natural resources as well as farmland will further decrease and the problem of pollution will become more serious, and there will be more traffic accidents. In my opinion, we should try to protect natural resources and decrease environment pollution.

Anger, a normal emotion , if not properly expressed, can be harmful to people’s health. Doctors suggest that we learn to deal with anger in a calm and reasonable way .

As we know, getting angry not only does harm to one’s health but a lso has a bad effect on the relationship between people. Sometimes expressing

anger too strongly can lead to severe results.

However, in many cases, anger may be avoided if we can understand each other better. For instance, someone may have done something about which you are very angry, but in fact he meant no harm. So it is quite unnecessary for you to get angry. If someone does something wrong, try to put yourself in his position and understand him. If you find it really necessary to express anger, try to do it in a calm, reasonable way. Remember losing your temper does good to neither you nor the other person.
