It's general considered that we tend to dream in the night about things that linger around us in the daytime, which partly explains why I kept having the same dream for quite a long time several weeks ago. In the dream, I was given a test on Japanese but I was totally at a loss what the correct answers should be. I was so worried that I always woke up in horror. Since the dream kept happening again and again, I can't help wondering why. After some careful analysis, I began to understand. I used to think that Japanese was rather a piece of cake and seldom spent any time memorizing the Japanese words, which I considered as equivalent to the Chineseones. But as the final examination drew closer, I gradually realized that things were not what I thought. I began to panic and was rather afraid that I would fail in the Japanese exam. This lingered around me day and night, resulting in my nightmare.
